HomeProducts75% Alumina
Mid-Range

75% Alumina
Grinding Media

A medium-density grinding-ball grade positioned between economy media and 92% high alumina. Final suitability depends on the mill, material, target fineness and acceptable media wear.

Why 75%

When to Choose This Grade

75% alumina is a medium-density option. Public manufacturer data places it above 68% economy media in alumina content and density, but actual wear performance must be compared using like-for-like test methods.

Choose 75% when: you want a middle position between purchase cost and density for ceramic or mineral ball milling, without automatically specifying 92% media.

Consider a different grade when: lowest initial cost is decisive (→ compare 68%), or finer media, higher density and tighter chemistry are required (→ compare 92% or an actual 95% specification).

Applications for 75% Alumina

Where This Grade Works Best

Ceramic Body Preparation

Ball milling of ceramic raw materials where a medium-density option is preferred over an economy grade. Confirm cycle time and media wear in the actual mill.

Glaze & Frit Milling

A potential mid-range choice for selected glaze and frit duties. Verify color, contamination tolerance and finished-particle requirements before selection.

Non-Metallic Minerals

Grinding of feldspar, quartz, kaolin and similar materials where the quoted chemistry, density and wear level fit the final product.

Media Upgrade Trials

A candidate when moving up from lower-density media without immediately specifying 92%. Compare throughput, wear and total media cost in a controlled trial.

Ordering Reference

Sizes, Use & Packing

Grinding Balls

Public product ranges cover Ø 10 – 90 mm, while some suppliers list only 30 – 60 mm. Confirm exact availability per quote.

Ball-Mill Duty

Share the mill, material, target fineness and current media. These inputs matter more than alumina percentage alone.

Export Packing

25 kg bags are common. Palletized or bulk packing, net weight and container loading are confirmed per offer.
